About the Parish UDC
The Caddo Parish Unified Development Ordinance (UDC) was originally adopted by the Parish Commission in December 2017. The UDC’s purpose is to promote the health, safety and general welfare of Parish residents through the regulation of zoning, subdivisions, and land use.

The UDC is a living document, evolving with the needs and desires of the Parish and its citizenry in response to changing community goals and objectives, newly emerging development trends and technologies, and changes to local, state and federal regulations. From time to time, the Parish Commission adopts amendments to the UDC. A master list of amendments can be found under the Caddo Parish UDC Amendments page located in the side navigation tool.
