The Unified Development Code (UDC) is a document that consolidates all development-related regulations including zoning requirements, subdivision regulations, design and development standards, and review procedures. The current UDC was published in 2018 by the Order of the Shreveport City Council. You may view the City of Shreveport Unified Development Code here.

The UDC establishes land use regulations for the City of Shreveport. The purpose of this code is to promote the public health, safety, and welfare of the residents of the City of Shreveport by promoting the orderly development of the city in accordance with the Shreveport-Caddo 2030 Master Plan.
